The annual Red Robin Tip-A-Cop is back! Come by your local Red Robin and be served by your local Law Enforcement Officers on October 22nd!

Become a Coach

Follow these simple steps to become a Special Olympics coach:

1)      View the Special Olympics Washington online General Orientation and Read Article 1 of the General Rules.

2)      Complete the Protective Behaviors online training and quiz

3)      Complete and submit the Washington State Patrol form and the Volunteer Application

4) Contact your Region Manager:

 Northwest: Justin Kautz

King County: Tyler Bjork

Southwest: Mandy Schumacher

East: Stephen Opland

5)      Head coaches: Before your first practice, complete the online Concussion and Sudden Cardiac Arrest Awareness trainings online. 

6)      Head coaches: Attend a sport specific training in the sport you are coaching. Head coaches must complete continuing education courses at least every four years.
