Washington State Winter Games is the culmination of the Special Olympics winter season. Nearly 1,500 athletes converged on Wenatchee and Leavenworth Washington to compete over three-days in Basketball, Skiing, Speed Skating, Figure Skating and Snowboarding.

Cross Country has moved to the Lake Wenatchee Rec. Club. 


The primary purpose of MedFest is to offer a free sports physical and other health screening services. Any athlete who attends Winter Games and is in need of a physical in the next 3 – 9 months is encouraged to participate.  The MedFest screenings will take place on Friday, February 27th at the Town Toyota Center from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.

Volunteer Registration

All individuals interested in volunteering at Winter Games should fill out a Venue Placement Form(s). These form(s) help Special Olympics Washington place potential volunteers at the Winter Games Event.

The completed form(s) will be sent to a volunteer manager who will contact you  directly with additional details. Thanks again for your support of Special Olympics Washington.
